How does 50Pros handle my personal data?
50Pros takes data privacy seriously. We collect only the information necessary to provide our services: account details (name, email, role), agency profile information (publicly displayed), project request details (shared only with matched agencies), and usage analytics (page views, clicks). We use Supabase for secure data storage with row-level security policies, Stripe for payment processing (we never store credit card numbers), and Resend for email delivery. Who can see my contact information?
For agencies: if you are Verified, your website URL, email address, and phone number are visible to anyone browsing your profile. If you are not verified, only your agency name, description, and general profile information are publicly visible — clients can reach you through the platform’s messaging system. For clients/buyers: your contact information is shared only with agencies you choose to connect with through project submissions or direct messages. Your personal details are never displayed publicly on the platform. Admin users have access to all data for moderation and support purposes.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account, contact our support team at hello+vip@50pros.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Include the email address associated with your account. We’ll verify your identity and process the deletion. For agency accounts, deleting your account will remove your profile from the directory, archive your reviews, and cancel any active subscriptions. Please note that some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as transaction records). Account deletion is typically processed within 5 business days.
How do I unsubscribe from 50Pros emails?
Every email from 50Pros includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it will immediately remove you from that email list. You can also manage your notification preferences from your dashboard’s Settings page, where you can toggle individual notification types on or off (such as lead notifications, review alerts, newsletter, and marketing emails). Transactional emails related to your account security (password resets, billing confirmations) cannot be unsubscribed from, as they are required for account operations.
What security measures does 50Pros use?
50Pros implements multiple layers of security: encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication via Supabase Auth with session management, row-level security policies on the database, secure payment processing through Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant), rate limiting on all public forms and API endpoints to prevent abuse, honeypot fields for spam detection on forms, automated content moderation, bot detection, and real-time error monitoring through Sentry. We also enforce security headers (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options) on all pages. Admin actions are logged in an audit trail for accountability.
