Platform Policies
Terms of service, acceptable use, and content guidelines.
Where can I read the terms of service?
You can find the full Terms of Service at 50pros.com/terms. The terms cover account usage, acceptable content, intellectual property, privacy, payment terms, dispute resolution, and platform liability. We recommend all users review the terms when creating an account. The Privacy Policy is available at 50pros.com/privacy. Both documents are updated periodically, and users are notified of significant changes via email.
What are the content guidelines for profiles and articles?
All content on 50Pros must be original, truthful, and professional. Profiles must accurately represent the agency’s services, experience, and capabilities. Reviews must be based on genuine client-agency relationships and cannot be copied from other platforms (Clutch, G2, Capterra, etc.). Articles must be original work that provides genuine value. Prohibited content includes profanity, spam, misleading claims, fraudulent reviews, stolen content, and anything that violates applicable laws. Our automated content moderation system checks all submissions, and our team reviews flagged content manually.
How do I report an agency or inappropriate content?
If you encounter an agency profile with misleading information, a suspicious review, or any content that violates our guidelines, you can report it in several ways: (1) use the flag/report button available on review cards and profile pages, (2) contact our support team at hello+vip@50pros.com with details about the issue, or (3) use the contact form at 50pros.com/contact. Our moderation team investigates all reports and takes appropriate action, which may include content removal, warnings, or account suspension depending on the severity of the violation.
How does review moderation work?
Every review submitted on 50Pros goes through automated content moderation before being published. The system checks for profanity, spam patterns, formatting quality, misleading or unsubstantiated claims, and plagiarized content from other platforms. It also detects suspicious rating patterns (such as all-5-star reviews with minimal detail) and reviews that contain platform-specific markers from Clutch, G2, Capterra, and similar sites. Reviews that pass automated moderation are published. Those that are flagged are held for manual review by our team. Agencies can also respond to published reviews from their dashboard.
