Expert to Know: Aidan Eaton

When do you feel most energized at work?
In the morning, after setting priorities for the day, halfway through my first cup of coffee, and listening to my 2000s emo playlist.
What’s a personal ritual or habit you credit for your success?
Go the extra mile - in every case, when solving any puzzle, go the extra mile. Check your work, proofread everything, even if it's outside of your responsibilities on a project, the work will ultimately represent you. Make sure it's good.
What’s one mistake you made early on that taught you something lasting?
Double-check the content! The smallest mistakes in the copy can have a drastic effect on how the user views your business and brand. Always proofread the content you're designing around, even if it's not your job.
What do you do to recharge outside of work?
I go to art galleries, concerts, or museums—taking in art is just as important as making it.
What makes your agency different from others in your space?
We do many things differently from the traditional advertising agency. Our level of communication and transparency in our marketing efforts is exceptional. We also set a strategy for every client within their onboarding process. We take the time to get to know your brand and build a strategy that effectively reaches your target audience.
What’s a principle or value your agency lives by?
Transparency, communication, and accountability. We offer a level of insight that sets us apart. Clients receive monthly reports covering active campaigns and website analytics—but we go further. We also share a breakdown of how our time was spent, so clients can see exactly what we worked on and how much effort went into their digital marketing each month.
How do you foster creative thinking on your team?
I like to create micro-challenges for the team. In our creative meetings, I find a modern case study of an advertising campaign, and we brainstorm how we would change or approach the campaign differently.
What trend in marketing/advertising do you think is overhyped?
AI – While massively impactful, it isn’t always beneficial for every client—especially those with small data sets or limited user data overall.
What’s one resource (book, podcast, etc.) that changed how you work?
Podcasting! Our sister brand, Witcraft, completely changed how I think about podcasts. Using them as a business resource can seriously boost personal connection with your audience—and help build the personal brand of leaders within your organization. With AI on the rise, I’ve noticed a growing trend: people want to know who they’re working with. Giving potential clients a way to hear from the team behind the business is becoming more important than ever.
What’s your favorite thing about being in this industry?
The problem-solving aspect, creating a new, unique solution to a client's business needs, keeps the job fresh for me. Solving issues for a business with a beautifully designed solution feels immensely rewarding.
